Savannah Holiday Party
Thursday, December 16th2010 Sam and I attended the first annual AIA, IIDA, ASLA and USGBC Holiday Party. The event was held at The Mansion on Forsyth in Savannah, Georgia. There were LOTS of people there – we heard 200 were expected from the front desk clerk.
We ran into some of our Jacksonville colleagues there! Ed Xanders with Tandus, Ron Titus with Interface, Laura Hambrecht with Momentum Textiles, and Mike Hambrecht with Leading Lines helped us meet new Savannah contacts. It was great to see familiar faces amongst so many we are excited about getting to know. We also saw Dawn Templeton, Georgia rep for Milliken, who I met at a dealer training event in the spring.
Some of our new friends are Raquel Anderson with Mason, Michael Griffith, AIA, FARA from South Carolina, Kermit Griffin with Richmond Hill City Center and Peter with Greenline Architecture, who “passed the gavel” for the AIA Savannah Chapter Presidency at the party.
We were proud sponsors of the event and are looking forward to sponsoring more IIDA and AIA Savannah events as we continue to grow our business there.
